Facebook’s Legal Learning & Development team is looking for a Legal L&D Project Manager that will provide project management and operational support for our team's growing portfolio. The Legal L&D Project Manager will work closely with Legal L&D team members, along with cross-functional partners, to manage and run complex and strategic learning projects within Facebook Legal. The Legal L&D Project Manager will also manage daily program operations, triage and respond to training and policy requests, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will have an ability to balance strategy, problem solving, and critical thinking with tactical execution.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead multiple work streams and/or global project teams to execute against project plans
  • Demonstrate strong ability to engage directly with management on strategy/key summaries and be able to work at tactical level within working teams
  • Promote, manage and deliver continuous operational improvements
  • Display effective organization skills and manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and drive creation of integrated project plans and timelines
  • Propose solutions to manage stakeholder expectations and manage project scope
  • Drive standardization of project, portfolio, and operational processes
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in executing and reviewing work products to ensure the highest quality deliverables within approved timelines and budget
  • Integrate and synthesize technical and substantive information from multiple teams, including legal, engineering, data analytics, and technology, in order to analyze complex issues, mitigate risks and solve problems
  • Travel as needed (up to 10% depending on location and assigned projects) and occasionally internationally

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years additional project/program management experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of project/program management experience
  • Experience leading departmental and enterprise-wide learning projects and facilitating meetings with stakeholders
  • Experience working with stakeholders and cross-functional partners

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in learning & development project management roles within the technology or professional services industries
  • Experience working on Legal, Security, Compliance, or Risk projects
  • PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certification(s)
