The Legal Compliance Organization (LCO) team is headquartered in Milpitas, CA and provides legal guidance to further KLA's strategic objectives and protect and preserve the legal, ethical and financial integrity and reputation of the Company. With specific expertise in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial law, employment law, and intellectual property; the LCO offers strategic legal counsel that is informed by a clear understanding of the company's business objectives and expertise in the laws and regulations relevant to the business worldwide.


We are seeking a corporate, securities and M&A attorney to assist the Associate General Counsel in charge in a variety of matters, which may include:

  • Assisting with M&A activity
  • Assisting with securities filing activity (quarterly reports, annual reports, current reports, proxy statements, Section 16 filings)
  • Assisting with subsidiary maintenance activities, including winding down subsidiaries of acquired entities
  • Assisting with corporate governance and shareholder outreach initiatives, including review and preparation of board and committee materials
  • Assisting with other finance, tax and corporate projects that may arise from time to time


  • Looking for an eager, self-motivated candiate who can take the ball and run with it. Candidate will be the first attorney in our new Ann Arbor office
  • Law firm and/or in house experience with securities, corporate and/or M&A matters is preferred

Minimum Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school with 1-4 years of relevant experience.
