Support the Williams Scotsman branches in the Sales Contracting process.
Support the WS sales reps and business teams throughout the contract negotiation lifecycle.
Assist the WS sales reps and business teams with contractual issues as they arise.
Act as primary support for both the WS teams and the Customer on emergent contract issues and documented contract requests.
Conduct thorough review of contract documents in light of Williams Scotsman legal thresholds and internal standards.
Conduct final review of legal terms and conditions in all documents prior to execution.
Support the execution of all contract documents.
Identify issues for approval escalation to appropriate stakeholders and senior executives.
Draft non-standard language and redline into contract documents.
Manage and lead negotiations of individual contracts, purchase orders and vendor agreements.
Oversee the development and implementation of a contracting strategy for individual agreements to meet the needs of both WS and Customer.
Coordinate with a wide range of areas corporately to meet business needs.
Review, negotiate and administer contractual documentation on an on-going basis securing the best terms and value to meet corporate objectives.
Point of Contact for Contract questions.
Collaborate closely with Sales team, Procurement Team, IT team and other business units regarding contract requests and issues.
Conduct correspondence with all stakeholders regarding status of contract request.
Track contracts and PO’s through the contract lifecycle, including Lease Agreements, Modified Leases, Purchase Orders, Amendments and Renewals.
Follow up with stakeholders to resolve issues and to efficiently complete contract documents.
Support Departmental and Corporate projects.
Participate in and complete departmental and corporate projects as assigned.
Coordinate projects with other departments as necessary.
Assist branches, business teams and other departments with ad hoc research as necessary.
Ability to ensure compliance with WS processes and procedures.
Job experience & skills requirements
7-10 years drafting and negotiating contracts, preferably as an in house attorney
Extensive experience with contract review of contract documents including Master Agreements, Individual Agreements, Purchase Orders, Amendments, Renewals, Vendor Agreements and other contractual documents.
Strong ability to draft non-standard contract language.
Ability to insert standard WS contract terms in vendor documents.
Experience in customer support roles with strong customer service mentality.
Excellent attention to detail.
Superior oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate confidently with senior leadership teams.
Juris Doctor (JD) Degree preferred
Fast learner with ability to adapt to rapidly to changing environments, requirements and responsibilities.
Ability to take direction.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
Demonstrated track record in managing multiple urgent projects simultaneously.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational ability.
Professional and self-motivated.
