Akerman LLP, a leading U.S. law firm, is seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant for our New York office. Working with the firm's Labor & Employment (Litigation) Practice Group, the successful candidate will be highly motivated and ready to assist and support all aspects of a busy practice. Applicants should be highly motivated with 7 - 10 years of litigation experience and advanced skill level in Microsoft Office. Candidates must be familiar with electronic filing in state and federal courts. Excellent typing, phone skills and organizational skills are essential along with the ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be energetic and eager to work. Other job duties may include: caseload file maintenance, electronic form letters and other various duties as assigned.
