Washington University in St. Louis invites applications for a full-time lecturer in sociocultural anthropology to begin in August 2018. Applicants must be able to teach courses in Environmental Anthropology; preference will be given to candidates who can offer courses that address issues related to the intersection of environmental anthropology and Global Health. This appointment falls under University and Arts & Sciences policies on full-time faculty and may be renewed. The primary duties for this position will be teaching three courses per semester plus departmental service. Priority will be given to applicants with demonstrated teaching abilities.
Applicants must have completed the Ph.D. in anthropology or a closely aligned field before assuming the position.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Employer will assist with up to $2,000 in relocation costs.
