The Learning Facilitation Lead conducts or facilitates training courses for organization employees or external audiences. The Learning Facilitation Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.


The Learning Facilitation Lead plans, coordinates, and implements all aspects of training programs for participants throughout the organization regarding Medicare and Medicaid, including but not limited to instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training. Selects appropriate materials. Creates an environment that is conducive to learning and exchanging information, engages the learner, and produces the desired outcomes. Monitors training personnel records to ensure that employees have met all company training requirements for company, quality, and regulatory compliance. Analyzes course evaluations in order to judge effectiveness of training sessions and to implement suggestions for improvements. Evaluates the relevance of online resources to complement the facilitated experience in the fields as appropriate. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Handling and resolving daily routine operations regarding security access, facilities, and classroom situations
  • Orders supplies for classes scheduled
  • Review and analyze weekly summaries
  • Conduct facilitator classroom observations with potential certification impacts
  • Develop and analyze reports for learning trends of knowledge transfer
  • Assign and monitor time entries for work assignments
  • Locate and schedule facilitator replacements in emergent and non-emergent situations
  • Monitor utilization for the team and help manage the percentage adherence
  • Serves as mentor for any new hires and conducts the on-boarding experience
  • Facilitates various components as needed in the classroom environment which could include travel.
  • Serves as an advocate for facilitators

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of training or learning development experience
  • 5+ years of facilitation experience
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM, Medicare and Medicaid
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
  • 2+ years of experience leading projects, processes or people

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Experience with RX-Nova, CAS, CCP, MARX and CRM
  • Understanding of curriculum design, adult learning and facilitation principles
  • Experience using a wide variety of training tools to effectively facilitate to a wide audience
  • Experience leading others that are responsible for training or learning development
  • Ability to perform facilitator observations
  • Proficiency in pulling and analyzing Salesforce reports
