Job Description

As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of learning professionals, you will develop and deliver individual, team, and leadership development training. You will consult with business partners to provide solutions for engagement and development solutions across Blue Origin. This role will design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance. You should be comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating leadership, training and delivery competence, and attention to detail. This role reports to the Director of Learning and Leadership Development.

This is an on-site position based in either Merritt Island, FL, or Kent, WA. Relocation provided. Travel is required up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities:


  • Learning and Leadership Development Delivery - Deliver training courses or programs, engaging, advising, and guiding learners and evaluating the achievement of intended learning outcomes.
  • Learning Needs Analysis - Engage with team or department managers to clarify short-term priorities for Learning and Development interventions; capture relevant data on performance and current levels of competence; identify gaps about required levels and obtain agreement on required outcomes.
  • Development Design and Delivery - Contribute to the creation of development programs and workshops; tailor pre-existing exercises and feedback and development planning processes and tools; draft new content as advised, facilitate activities, and support individuals in their development planning.
  • Personal Capability Building - Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree
  • 7+ years of experience with leadership and development delivery
  • Training and facilitation experience, including demonstrated expertise in providing technical guidance in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

The compensation range for on-site WA applicants is $110,625-$162,250

Employee Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave (must be employed at time of birth or adoption), short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program available after 1 year of service.

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays for all regular employees (including part-time), fixed-term, and interns.

Discretionary bonus: Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
