The Program Manager is the day to day point of contact between the Learning & Development team and the stakeholders within the US Foods Specialty Leadership Team. The Program Manager partners closely with Specialty stakeholders to identify and assess critical L&D needs within the Specialty teams, and manage the development, design and deployment of a multi-faceted suite of L&D solutions aimed at onboarding and professional development of associates withing our Specialty stores.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with Specialty leaders on L&D strategies and initiatives aligned with the needs of the overall Store performance model. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure these efforts are aligned with needs.
Provide L&D expertise and consultative services on technologies and strategies as it pertains to driving the abilities of the Specialty store associates.
Initiate projects and oversee execution to achieve charter and benefits;
Provide frequent and effective communication around project status and application effectiveness
Support user community to drive program use and adoption. Constantly measure adoption and impact and adjust plans as needed to maintain optimal positive impact
Manage current programs and develop improvements keeping current with business needs. Partner with leaders to define learning and development needs and key messages across stakeholders. Design appropriate strategies to address the technical knowledge and skill building needs and determine the best delivery channel.
Conduct comprehensive needs assessments, determine education, learning and development priorities based on the needs associated with the business impact. Partner with subject matter experts and business leaders to determine and implement highly effective learning solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in project management, learning and development, other relevant field or equivalent experience required.
Related Experience/Requirements: Experience: Minimum 7 years relevant experience preferably in a retail or grocery environment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must be highly influential and able to interact and impact high level functional leaders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively drive initiatives forward and inspire followership.
