This position will play a key role in designing and implementing learning and adoption strategies in support of change initiatives. Ultimately this role will help ensure the required knowledge and ability throughout the business for end users to perform in new or changed roles and drive sustainable proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess training needs through detailed analysis of impacts of change initiatives and programs
  • Design role-based learning & development strategy and plan, standards and protocols that address the end to end capability requirement of each role
  • Plan and deploy a wide variety of innovative training methods, tools and techniques based on understanding of the learning needs
  • Work with instructional design and learning management system vendors as appropriate to drive learning and development agenda
  • Manage the overall design and creation of learning & development deliverables including curriculum and course materials leveraging advanced design/development techniques and tools to suit learning needs of the target audience
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices to incorporate in learning and development programs
  • Develop longer-term strategy and plan to incorporate changes as a result of future enhancements into learning and development programs
  • Manage training development and delivery resources to ensure adherence to standards and approval protocols
  • Work closely with program teams to ensure effective and efficient integration of the training effort into the overall implementation plan
  • Oversee coordination of training logistics plan, including training delivery facilities and schedules
  • Manage the integration of all learning and development materials into the Learning Management Systems
  • Design, implement and manage a Train-the-Trainer program to drive consistency in training delivery
  • Design and implement a knowledge transfer and coaching program and structure to support end users
  • Create a mechanism for gathering and analyzing feedback on training effectiveness, identify training gaps for the purpose of improving individual/team performance and monitor, evaluate and report training programs effectiveness success periodically
  • Oversee the creation and sustainment of all training environments and sandboxes, training environment refresh process, creation of transactional and master data as necessary to support instructional design
  • Partner with program and country training team to drive training delivery consistency and effectiveness
  • Provide opportunities for ongoing revision to course materials to address identified issues/concerns and tailor training programs as necessary
  • Manage the transition of program training to Business as Usual


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8 years of previous learning and development consulting experience with a global company or consulting firm
  • Experience leading learning and development for large scale ERP transformation effort for a global matrix organization; previous experience supporting change initiatives is a must.
  • Experience working with a global matrix L&D team to build instructional design and learning models that align with internalLearning Management System (LMS)
  • Experience assessing learning and development needs, developing strategies and plans, designing curriculum, developing online learning modules, live web-based sessions, instructor-led training guides, supporting materials and tracking progress
  • Experience using a variety of tools for training development, delivery and monitoring to maximize learning e.g. Captivate, Articulate etc.
  • Experience using visual communication skills to bring together text, images, video and audio to create blended learning user experience
  • Proven track record of applying project management and organization skill to effectively prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects to achieve business objectives
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate difficult concepts and processes using clear and simple language and visuals
  • Deep experience designing and developing learning programs across various delivery mediums. Including in-person training, remote and online modules
