Meet with your client groups to discuss headcount, new requisitions, hiring strategy, job descriptions, and/or interview feedback – you truly act as a partner to your clients and not merely as an order taker.
Discuss candidates you have screened with your client groups and recommend top candidates for interviews.
Guide candidates through each stage of the recruiting pipeline, make sure phone screens are scheduled and feedback is gathered urgently, extend offers and use candidates to source other potential job fits, maintain relationships with candidates if other opportunities arise in the future.
Give tours to candidates before their onsite interview.
Screen and tag candidates who apply to requisitions in our applicant tracking system.
Occasionally attend interviews alongside your client groups to act as another set of eyes and ears in evaluating candidates.
Act as the first screen to candidates before being referred to a hiring manager.
Manage relationships with external parties that provide the company with qualified applicants (such as universities or job corps').
Oversee diversity and inclusion strategy and initiatives.
Once candidates are approved for hire, you will begin the HR onboarding process including initiating background checks, completing reference checks, negotiating offer packages including extending offer letters, and issuing new hire paperwork.
Manage HR projects as needed.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
5+ years of recruiting experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience
3+ years of technical recruiting experience.
Strong understanding of boolean and LinkedIn Recruiter.
Experience with in-house recruiting.
Experience recruiting electrical, mechanical, and aerospace engineers.
