Description:Lockheed Martin's Missiles and Fire Control business is experiencing some substantial growth at our campus in sunny Orlando, FL. We are seeking an experienced Systems Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer capable of taking a leading program role in the system development process.
This effort includes the following responsibilities:
- Supporting Lead Engineer with interfacing program management, subcontractors and customer.
- Developing tests and test methods for acceptance test, thermal and vibration ESS.
- Supporting IP meetings and interface meetings with other IPTs as well as subcontractors.
- Writing test procedures and reports.
- Mothering the build of subassembly HW; including kitting, assembly, ESS and ATP.
- Mothering the build of test equipment through assembly and inspection.
- Supporting subcomponent and subassembly integration.
Selected candidate must hold a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.

West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 14 years or more of professional experience; or 12 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
RF experience and an electrical engineering background.
Currently holds a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.
Demonstrate knowledge of subsystem HW/SW capabilities, sensor capability, emitter capability, and permissions for their use.
Design a system verification process that is performed to well-constructed I&T Plans derived from DOORS requirements.
Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate other integration participants for I&T program efficiency.
Deliver effective Customer presentations that include performance results, schedule status, and corrective action details.
Demonstrate awareness of test equipment management including function, calibration and security requirements.
Verify that test data is recorded and cataloged appropriately.
Generate concise but thorough test reports purpose-built for use in functional configuration audits and related V&V events.
