Essential functions:

  • In addition to existing responsibilities, you will provide feedback to manager on team, including performance management and personnel decisions
  • Train and mentor team members on operational processes, standard methodologies, technical and product mentorship, career growth opportunities, reporting and communicating status of metrics.
  • You will perform quality audits and mentor individual team members in audit deficiencies
  • You will lead and resolve customers concern as they occur and assist less experienced team members with their critical issues
  • Review and update processes and ensure they meet regulatory and business needs
  • Maintain focus on staff operational improvement through identification of technical and professional training needs
  • Monitor departmental view of PTO, holiday, and scheduling needs
  • Identify and monitor operational trends, project / queue management, and partnership with applicable groups to increase efficiency
  • You will lead and/or participate in team and special projects for process/continuous improvement efforts
  • Maintain high rate of client happiness and assists department in improvements
  • Participate in root cause analysis effort
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Training and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a technical support function, preferably with Sunquest or other healthcare IT products
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or mentoring experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in process development and adherence preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare related industry and regulatory requirements preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years in Project management experience preferred
