Lead Superintendent Construction We are currently seeking a Lead Superintendent to head a high-priority project in the Vaughan/Woodbridge area, as well as additional Superintendents to support a growing portfolio of diverse projects across the Greater Toronto Area. You will be joining a firm known for delivering world-class infrastructure and complex, high-stakes developments. Key Responsibilities Lead Field Operations: Direct and coordinate all field activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Safety Excellence: Champion a safety-first culture by developing and enforcing site-specific safety programs in collaboration with EH&S teams. Strategic Oversight: Manage subcontractors and self-perform operations, overseeing scheduling, logistics, and site-wide performance. Technical Coordination: Interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications to resolve field issues and ensure full compliance with design intent. - 8-10+ years of active field supervision experience as a Lead or Senior Superintendent on large-scale ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) projects. - Proven track record of successfully delivering complex Mission Critical or Data Center infrastructure projects. - Deep expertise in managing onsite field operations, site logistics, and multi-million dollar project schedules. - Experience managing both third-party sub-contractor packages and complex Self-Perform Operations (SPO) teams. - Solid understanding of local Ontario building codes, Ministry of Labour (MOL) safety regulations, and OHSA standards. - Strong technical capability in interpreting complex contract documents, structural drawings, and heavy MEP specifications. - Demonstrated experience utilizing Lean Construction methodologies and the Last Planner System. - Gold Seal Certification (GSC) or a degree/diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering is highly preferred. Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for inspection authorities and project stakeholders, providing clear communication on project status, risks, and recovery strategies.
