Responsibilities:

  • Maintains responsibility for applications dealing with the overall operating system, such as sophisticated file maintenance routines, large telecommunications networks, computer accounting and advanced mathematical/ scientific software packages

  • Assesses the business and organizational implications of key application technology alternatives for wide-impact initiatives; recommends appropriate action

  • Guides the development team in overall application technology design activities; leads the identification and definition of key architectures, components and interfaces, design of data model and data/information flows

  • Leads the identification and definition of key architectures, components and interfaces, design of data model (entity relationships) and data/information flows

  • Assesses the business and organizational implications of key application technology alternatives for wide-impact initiatives to recommend appropriate strategic action

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in related field or equivalent training and experience;Graduate degree preferred

  • Approximately 8-12 years’ experience in related field

Other Information:

7+ years’ experience working with the JDA Demand, Fulfillment, and Inventory Optimization applications. Preferably JDA version 2016.

  • Experience with using PL/SQL
  • Experience with Unix Scripting
  • Experience with Oracle technology
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting issues and creating optimal solutions
  • Strong team player with effective interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with many different levels of technical and business acumen
  • Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Ability to learn business rules governing multiple businesses and systems
  • Proficient in Requirements gathering
  • Competent to work on all phases of software applications
  • Ability to learn and master new technologies and products
  • Solid understanding of Supply Chain business processes
  • Assist the project team in successfully designing, developing, testing, and implementing modifications to the JDA applications
  • Participate in weekly rotation for on-call support of the JDA Demand, Fulfillment, and Inventory Optimization applications and batch processes
