The Role

Partner in a team environment or be able to develop best in class services that are based on the Telecom Management Forum standards to independently design, develop, code, test and debug Nextgen External Ticketing API’s in support of Lumen’s customers. Develop solutions across many disciplines and be responsible for explaining solutions and procedures. Apply principles, theories, and concepts and use methodologies, tools, documentation processes, and test procedures to complete projects related to complex software.

The Main Responsibilities

• Tasks may include designing and coding programs and testing and documenting changes and enhancements
• Analyzes programming requests for the purpose of assisting integration with current applications
• Tasks may include project implementation, researching and evaluating problems, and recommending and implementing decisions
• Tasks may include project implementation, researching and evaluating problems, and recommending and implementing decisions
• Tasks may include training for System Operator/Programmer, providing user activity education, and one-on-one support
• Conducts training for the purpose of providing technical expertise to end-users
• Candidate must have knowledge of and participate in a fast-moving lean agile software development environment
• Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, and coding best practices.
• 4+ years of experience in IT and/or software development
• 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow, including ITSM tables, Glide, business rules, client scripts, custom apps, and development methods
• Experience in LDAP, AZURE(preferred), JWT, Single Sign-on, and other authentication methods.
• Experience in Web services, JavaScript, XML, JAVA, HTML, and REST.
• Experience working in SaaS environments.
• Experience in integration and APIs.
• Experience in Windows, Linux, and Unix.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong leadership skills to ensure projects are completed on time with quality.
