This position takes a lead role in providing clinical direction and supervision of clinical activities for licensed and unlicensed clinical staff, as well as providing independent administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological testing for children and adolescents. In coordination with the Directors and Managers of Developmental Services, sets the vision and goals for autism services and works with leaders to achieve those goals. Oversees research strategy and takes an active part in the planning, adoption, training, implementation and sustainability of evidence-based practices offered by staff, including identifying and addressing all aspects of clinical improvement, quality of clinical services, expertise and competency of staff. Takes responsibility for leading individual and group clinical activities of staff, including the coordination of pertinent clinical training of clinicians. Participates in increasing client referrals, including marketing of services. Ensures therapists offer assessment-based services and evidence-based practices with fidelity to the models, and ensures client files reflect timely, quality documentation in both assessment and charting.


Doctorate Degree (non MD)

3 years of experience

Licensed in the State of California or if licensed in another state, application for licensure in California submitted within one month of relocation

Ability and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division, and organizational priorities

Three years of experience conducting diagnostic assessment with children with use of tests: Bayley Scales of Infant Development III Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) Wechsler Scales Differential Abilities Scales II

Prior experience which demonstrates the ability to plan, organize, lead others and train team members


3 years of experience providing clinical supervision

Clinical, administrative and management experience

Bilingual Spanish
