In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations, the Lead Pricing Analyst position plays a key role responsible for supporting commercial item justification, by performing price reasonableness analyses. This position will work cross-functionally with the Gold Business Enterprise Engineering and Product Management teams, Customer Business Teams, Contracts, Pricing, Compliance and the Integrated Supply Chain. This a highly visible position that will interact with key stakeholders across the Aerospace organization as well as the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). This position will have the following key responsibilities:

- Use financial analysis expertise and problem solving abilities to assess the path to commerciality and associated price reasonableness for various offerings (products and services spanning mechanical, electrical, and software related items)

- Clearly document and communicate the justification for price reasonableness

- Act on Honeywell’s behalf advocating for commerciality and price reasonableness w/ Customers and the DCMA

- Project managing multiple priorities simultaneously

- Understand the laws, regulations and guidance for Commercial Items, Price Reasonableness and contracting

- Identify and address areas for improvement in the process / organization


− Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or equivalent fields

− Significant / 5+ years relevant experience (e.g., pricing, financial planning & analysis, finance, accounting)

− Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements


− Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a crisp and to-the-point presentation style, with ability to quickly and positively influence others

− Demonstrated critical / integrative thinking, creativity, innovation and problem solving skills

− Direct Experience with Commercial Item Justification (w/ price reasonableness analysis) is a major plus

− Ability to operate successfully in an ambiguous environment where the path forward is unclear

− Effective listening skills, with flexibility in approach to solutions

− Strong quantitative and analytical skills with financial business acumen

− Desire to learn, improve, and deploy cultural changes that drives growth

− Experience in process improvement and tool development with demonstrated results

− Demonstrated capability in navigating and escalating through a complex organization

− Project Management

− Strong interpersonal and team building skills

− Ability to influence and work with teams to resolve complex problems and improve processes

− A pro-active strong bias for action (relying solely on email to communicate won’t do)
