They are seeking a talented and dedicated Development Lead to be part of this growing department. The Team Lead will work as a key member of our bright internal development group. Summary: The ideal candidate will have 4-8years of professional experience programming PHP applications in a production LAMP environment using a CMS. Additionally, experience with Node.JS, React or Angular is a strong plus. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly person who values small company culture and teamwork. This person should be a self-starter and be forward thinking. This firm is paying a competitive package, is a very entrepreneurial environment and reports to the VP of Engineering. Lead PHP (LAMP) DeveloperResponsibilities:

  • Report to the VP of Application Development
  • Turn complex project requirements into manageable technical plans
  • Manage and deliver projects on time
  • Maintain high design and software coding standards
  • Lead and mentor a small team of developers
  • Work with IT and QA groups to deliver projects successfully


  • Bachelor's degree or higher - preferably a MS in Computer Science
  • 6+ years of technologyexperience
  • 3+ years managing small development teams 2-6 people
  • Excellent knowledge of Software Development Cycles
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership experience, proven ability to motivate a team

Lead PHP (LAMP)DeveloperTechnical Knowledge:

  • Experience using node.js, React and Angular is a plus
  • Experience at LAMP stack Web development
  • Experienced with Test Driven Methodology
  • Experienced Creating Microservices and APIs
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Excellent UNIX Scripting skills
  • Excellent Debugging skills
  • Experience with at least one other programming language such as Ruby, Java, or Python
  • Experience with Laravel, Zend and/or PHP Doctrine
  • Experienced implementing and customizing Content Management Systems
  • Experienced with Functional Programming, OO Design Principles and Patterns
  • Experience with managing source code with Git
  • Experience with building and deploying mobile apps, specifically for iOS
