This position is with our Hedge Fund Services IT team based out of Union, NJ.

The candidate will be responsible for:

  • Design, development and maintenance of suite of middle office and back office trade processing and reporting applications
  • Working with business analysts and users in developing business requirements, integration requirements and formulate technical recommendation
  • Coding, Compiling, Unit testing, integration, packaging and deployment of developed software
  • Collaborate with other developers and offshore teams in managing the project deliverables
  • Ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with defined standards and follow Agile development practices like SCRUM
  • Responsible for enhancing the internal and external portal applications using Angular, Java Script and CSS

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, or comparable field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing in Core Java/J2EE/Spring/Hibernate technologies
  • Strong technical analysis/debugging abilities
  • Proficient in working with Oracle PL/SQL and stored procedures/triggers etc.
  • Experience with Tomcat, Weblogic and/or Websphere
  • Experience with middleware & Enterprise Messaging Systems such as MQ or TIBCO
  • 2+ years of experience with Angular.js
  • Strong in JavaScript and CSS
  • Experience with RESTful Web Services
  • Full understanding of the Fixed Income and Equitytrade life-cycle is a plus
  • Exposure to basic Unix/Shell Programming
  • Excellent knowledge of software design and architecture
  • Good Communication Skills. Ability to interact directly with various teams.
