One of the largest corporations in Los Angeles is actively seeking a hands on Senior Java Engineer for a brand new team within the organization. This team, which will be responsible for software and digital development, as well as the rearchitecture of existing applications throughout the company, will primarily be doing full stack development using Java8, Spring Boot, RESTful Microservices, and AWS.
The ideal candidate for this role, will have at least 7 years of experience building Java applications most recently within a microservices architecture. Preferably, you will have a strong understanding of DevOps and deployment procedures within an AWS environment. Any experience with containerization and continuous integration would be extremely helpful and NodeJS experience would be a very strong plus.
This role will be the first technical hands-on hire for the group, so this is a very unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor with a new group with one of the most technically progressive, forward-thinking corporations around the globe.
