The Field Marketing Lead will be a strategic partner to regional operations leadership and will lead a team of outstanding field marketing strategists in order to help achieve annual sales plans. The Field Marketing Lead will have an opportunity to make an impact on how Chipotle ensures that better food is accessible to everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

-Build strong partnerships with operations leadership at the Director level

-Assess and effectively communicate sales opportunities; partner with regional directors to create regional marketing strategy

-Proactively seek out and share new trends and technologies to improve approach and strategy

-Serve as a field marketing expert on the regional leadership team

-Understand operational challenges and limitations and effectively integrate into operations leadership team

-Utilize Chipotle tools to provide regional data-driven insight to operations leadership

-Develop and train a team of outstanding, data-driven field marketing strategists

-Guide, instruct and direct a team of field marketing strategists to create a strategic marketing plan and help grow sales

-Help team members build productive, impactful relationships with operations leadership and national marketing team

-Equip team members with information, training and resources to help them perform successfully in their role

-Provide timely feedback and specific goals for team members including regular performance discussions and reviews

-Evaluate progress of field marketing plans, guiding team members to solve for challenges and achieve maximum results

-Create cohesive and collaborative team culture

-Create strategic marketing plan for dedicated region

-Partner with operations leadership to understand sales-building opportunities of the region

-Expertly utilize tools and resources to understand sales trends, consumer behavior and industry trends throughout region

-Collaborate with national marketing and support teams to advise on regional smarketing tactics and goals

-Provide regular recaps to operations leadership and national marketing teams on progress of regional marketing strategy

-Adjust regional marketing plans based on results and impact of programs and events across the region

-Manage all regional budgets

The ideal candidate will:

-Has 5-7 years marketing experience or relevant equivalent

-Possesses a B.A./B.S. in Marketing or a related field; or an equivalent in education and experience

-Has experience leading a team and elevating others by training, coaching or mentoring

-Has a start-up mentality and is familiar with field marketing

-Has the ability to develop and interpret creative, high-level marketing strategy, as well as the design, technical, financial, and operational requirements of marketing programs

-Possesses a strong ability to manage multiple demands and responsibilities; adapts quickly and effectively to changing needs and expectations.

-Possesses strong understanding of local promotions and grassroots outreach

-Has flexibility to travel moderately, regionally and nationally

-Maintains current knowledge of trends in consumer marketing, fast casual restaurant and retail industry

-Is able to write business cases, negotiate contracts and manage a budget

-Is able to work independently and remotely in the field and from a home office

-Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite

-Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
