Job Description Summary
The Lead Maintenance Analyst provides frontline technical support, troubleshooting leadership, and reliability improvement for union maintenance/manufacturing teams supporting critical production equipment (including Heat Treat, EDM, EB Weld, and CNC). This role is primarily analysis, coordination, and coaching-focused (not a hands-on wrench-turning position) and helps drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) outcomes through better maintenance execution, defect elimination, and equipment uptime.

In this role you will be responsible for optimizing the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of complex industrial equipment through advanced data analysis, predictive maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves collaborating with engineering and operations to implement best practices in asset management.

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that equipment and tools are in good condition for use. Propose plans for preventive maintenance and corrective action.
  • Coach and mentor indirect teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms to identify equipment performance trends, predict failures, and optimize maintenance schedules.
  • Utilize various data sources, including sensor data, historical maintenance records, and operational parameters, to diagnose equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement preventative measures.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for equipment reliability, availability, and maintenance costs, presenting regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools for enhancing predictive maintenance capabilities and asset management strategies.
  • Support the development and implementation of equipment maintenance strategies aligned with lean manufacturing principles and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on complex equipment issues to maintenance technicians and operational personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to equipment maintenance and operations.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college OR a high school diploma with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
  • A minimum of 3 additional years of experience in manufacturing maintenance.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.  We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Desired Characteristics

  • 8-10 years of experience in a variety of maintenance functions including trade, facilities, machining, leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience maintaining critical production equipment (including Heat Treat, EDM, EB Weld, and CNC).
  • Experience with preventive maintenance systems, FLIGHT DECK principles, and structured problem-solving methodologies to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, work effectively within a unionized workforce, and build strong collaborative relationships across maintenance, operations, and support teams.
  • Proven expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics techniques (e.g., regression analysis, time series analysis, machine learning).
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of various industrial equipment types, maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, reactive), and asset management principles.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to diagnose complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team motivation, coaching, and project management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic industrial environment.

The base pay range for this position is  110,000 – 155,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary based on the plan.  This posting is expected to close on July 6, 2026.
