Job Description:
This position will be a technical lead for electrical subsystems within the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) Segment of L3Harris. This team, located in the Ft. Wayne, IN facility, that designs, builds, integrates, and tests, electro-optical imaging payloads. These instruments contain complex analog, power, digital, and FPGA electronics. Responsibilities will include electrical system architecture, system requirement definition, technical documentation development, requirement verification, and leading electrical technical teams. This position will also assist the Project Manager/IPT Lead in giving technical customer presentations and insuring schedule and budget objectives are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university
- 9+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Electrical system design experience
- Experience allocating system level requirements to applicable sub-systems and components
- Circuit design experience
- Hands-on root-cause troubleshooting experience
- Technical specification and Interface Control Document generation experience

- TS/SCI clearance
- Ability to travel occasionally, <10%, to customer and vendor sites
