This position will provide Subject Matter Expertise support to lead the Cyber Tools, Services, and Engineering Division, including recommending and providing comprehensive end-to-end integrations and enhancements, such as to “roll up” automated reporting of events, incidents, and information, facilitating machine-to-machine reporting, scanning networks and performing discovery, and providing additional insight and awareness into cyber risks. Required experience includes full-lifecycle deployment of tools and capabilities based on security intelligence, post incident findings, new threats, and vulnerabilities, from design-stage to system Authority To Operate (ATO). The Lead Cybersecurity Engineer will discuss security postures and make recommendations to improve security infrastructure and processes.
This role will manage and lead the use of technologies to provide end to end integrations and enhancements and automating and orchestrating processes and procedures, such as collecting, analyzing, aggregating, and providing network topologies, and automating outlying processes into pipelines. Therefore, candidates should have experience designing, implementing, and using custom cybersecurity solutions (e.g., Elastic stack, Elk, Splunk, etc.). Due to the subject matter expertise required to advise on new technologies and process optimizations to improve the Customer’s cyber posture, a broad set of experience is required, including extensive knowledge of security technology, risk assessment methodologies, cloud architecture, IDS, SIEM, policies, systems, firewalls, networks, and related NIST and DoD policies, procedures, and instructions. This work may also entail occasional support of headquarters related activities, such as assisting with proposal writing.
