What we're looking for:

A curious, driven, and passionate Lead Business Systems Analyst. You are looking for a chance to engage with our global business Leaders and process owners to help identify and implement solutions/enhancements that will help to achieve efficiencies in our business systems. You have a preferred 3-5 years of Financial Systems Implementation and Management experience.

You are a subject matter expert in cross-department projects that range from small to medium size. You have the ability to partner with teams across the organization by initiating, prioritizing and driving solutions to help to fulfill business needs. You have experience reviewing solution designs with IT project teams to ensure solutions are scalable and high quality. Your guidance includes configuration suggestions, standard practices, data extraction, and roadmap discussions.

Position Summary

Primarily supports the business use of the accounting systems for the organization worldwide. Supports the entire project life cycle including initial implementation and on-going production support, and leads enhancement projects. Performs the role of key liaison between the technical IT staff that deploys business process management-based systems and the line-of-business staff that perform the process work. Specializes in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business processes and user needs in order to formulate solutions that enable the overall business strategies. Drives the creation of primarily conceptual/logical process models, as well as the supporting process ecosystem.

Primary Duties / Qualifications

  • Functional knowledge of SAP, which includes designing, building, testing and deploying SAP FICO technical solutions
  • Utilize past experience and knowledge of accounting, finance and reporting to recommend appropriate business process solutions to new business requirements
  • Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and success with identifying and addressing business user needs: actively leading requirements gathering discussions and meetings; engaging with users to define key business goals and translating to automated system solutions
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges and proactively monitor critical system interface health and drive continuous improvement projects for any interface failures
  • Ensuring consistently reliable reporting from systems and demonstrate subject matter expertise for any reporting needs
  • Systems supported primarily include SAP ECC/HANA, Hybris, RevPro, SAP BW, and SAP BPC. Additional systems may be in scope for selected projects based on business need
  • Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders outside of Accounting Systems, including Sales, Marketing, Product Groups, Operations, regarding accounting systems and processes
  • Provide ad-hoc system support as required including for month-end and quarter end close process
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills; ability to lead meetings internally and externally and executive briefings. Often takes a leading role in senior level presentations with management teams
  • Perform key functions to recruit top-notch Accounting Systems staff including interviewing, hiring, monitoring, employee feedback and documentation, counseling and coaching, and performance management / improvement when needed

Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of Financial Systems Implementation/Management experience and 2-4 years of experience in a process improvement focused environment preferred
