Landscape Project Manager

The Landscape/Project Manager is responsible for the leadership and management of landscape construction and landscape enhancement projects ranging from one-hour work orders to month-long projects.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prospect interaction and pro-active selling to commercial property development companies as well as current customers of DJ?s
  • Working with our estimators to build competitive proposals, the Landscape
  • Manager then oversees all operational functions through project completion and customer acceptance of the completed project
  • Drive sales and proposal process in order to achieve department revenue goals
  • Support the sales efforts of the Client Care team by providing technical expertise in pre-sale meetings
  • Review and approve proposal/estimate generation to ensure profitability and accuracy
  • Ensure all production Team Members and subcontractors are equipped with all relevant project information
  • Set the project schedule and communicate progress to senior leadership team
  • Forecast and anticipate the needs of the landscape department
  • Develop and manage the landscape department team members
  • Ensure consistent service delivery to our customers to exceed their expectations
  • Review performance of area and drive improvements
  • Manage Snow & Ice Services within a specified region during the winter months

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional landscaping experience
  • 5+ years of supervisory/management experience
  • 1+ year of Customer Management / salesexperience
  • True team player with collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High-level of organizational skill with strong attention to detail
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
