Our Opportunity:

Reporting to the Managing Director of Sales Administration and Consultant Support, the Knowledgebase Manager will be responsible for oversight of the sales support proposal database, all external consultant databases and annual marketing/public relations survey management.  This position requires a unique combination of technical, retirement industry, communication, and project management skills to effectively manage the information sources available to sales and related business partners.  The Knowledgebase Manager will be required to interface on a daily basis with members of the Business Acceptance and Development team, Marketing, Client Services, Consultant Support, Stock Plan Services, external consulting firms and various subject matter experts throughout the organization. 

What you’ll do:

Technical responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and improving database content structure, categorization, and maximization of search effectiveness
  • Maximize the capabilities and usage of proposal management tools (PMAPS)
  • Access and security control of the database for various user levels
  • Marketing content categorization and management via internal web site
  • Generation of reports for usage tracking and information validation process

 Business responsibilities will include:

  • Continual content reviews of database information with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and quality of the information stored in addition to a sound understanding of the content for proper categorization including consultant specific databases
  • Identification of marketing collateral and collaboration with content developers and users to ensure accurate categorization of information for efficient access by user community
  • Interface with other business units to leverage sharing of knowledgebase and identify best practices for usage

What you have:

  • 3+ years of technical experience working with database structures and/or management or project management
  • 5+ years of retirement planexperience
  • Proven ability to communicate technical information in a clear manner
  • Work is performed under moderate supervision and is subject to regular review for soundness of judgment, accuracy and progress toward completion
  • Detailed knowledge of computer and related software applications including MSOffice & Web tools
  • Familiarity with proposal management tools (PMAPS, RFP Machine, or Sant) is a plus       
  • Bachelor’s degreerequired
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to operate well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail is imperative
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in managing multiple, deadline-driven projects and ability to effectively multi-task
