CACI is looking for a talented and motivated Knowledge and Records Management Lead to join our TSA IMPACT team. Our Knowledge and Records Management Lead promotes knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes and systems by strengthening links between knowledge sharing and information systems and improving integration among information systems to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems. The IMPACT Knowledge Management lead identifies, collects, synthesizes, organizes and manages the organization's knowledge in support of units across the program. This includes accumulating, understanding and leveraging knowledge about business activities, its clients, its employees, and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Has a great technical understanding of the SharePoint environment and has extensive knowledge of the intricacies of content and records management
  • Assists with contract management procedures and contract deliverables, analysis of records and information management problems, and design of strategies and procedures to meet ongoing records management needs
  • Develops and manages document repositories for both customer deliverables and operations documentation
  • Implements Records Management and Information Governance policies and best practices
  • Verifies records management retention policies align with Federal regulations and contractual requirements
  • Identifies and develops solutions for records to rectify information management and sharing issues, providing best practice in information management
  • Recommends and designs knowledge sharing capabilities and processes to be incorporated into the organization's SharePoint Portal and workflow activities
  • Works with SharePoint developer to recommend and design upgrades and updates to SharePoint Portal to support improved business processes
  • Promotes collaborative tools to facilitate sharing of ideas, contract deliverables, and work processes among internal teams and external partners
  • Monitors and evaluates the knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities
  • Disseminates information about the organization's knowledge sharing program to internal and external audiences, including organizing knowledge sharing events (such as knowledge fairs, site visits, interviews)
  • Maintains communications on knowledge sharing across the organization, participates in orientation and training sessions, and prepares presentations
  • Recommends Knowledge Management/Process Improvement (KM/PI) initiatives throughout the program and implements approved initiatives
  • Applies business process improvement practices to reengineer portal and workflow activities to support business process improvement projects
  • Secures portal content for internal and external customers and ensures access controls are applied at all workflow stages
  • Develops reports to support operations, writes knowledge content, and prepares presentations for senior management to support recommended changes, new initiatives or enhancements

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Microsoft SharePoint 2016 portal administration and security
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer, to include page design, form creation, and workflow configuration

Desired Skills:

  • Relevant DHS or focused experience
  • Typically has a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 5 years of related work experience.
