    • Responsible for day to day tasks, sales, margins and management at Key Account
    • Increases color sales and market share in North America.
    • Gather and disseminates market information to assist with identifying threats, opportunities and product development
    • Identify, develop and follow up on sales pipeline / sales funnel for reviewing and tracking hunting opportunities and then convert into profitable sales
    • Identify and provide service levels to meet customer requirements
    • Visit, develop and manage assigned key account and form long term business customer relationships built on trust
    • Provide a fast responsive and accurate service to meet customer requests and demands
    • Identifies major trends in key market segments
    • Attends, participates and contributes in key technical and trade organization meetings
    • Provides direction to technical service group on projects involving key customers or critical applications.
    • Analyzes and develops strategies for product pricing and market growth opportunities, in tandem with Business Manager, for existing and new materials and markets to ensure margin maintenance/growth.
    • Maintains direct sales responsibility for commercial and technical service activities at accounts identified under “Key Accounts” this includes call reports, technical service requests, samples and sales demand forecasts
    • Coordinates customer technical service including internal and customer trouble-shooting and support, technical presentations, and quality/ complaint investigations. 
    • Develops close working relationships with other Ferro cross-functional departments, including R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Customer Service that create and promote an environment of cooperation and effectiveness necessary to meet the current and future needs of the business, both in sustainability and growth. 
    • Supports and coordinates new product introduction at accounts
    • Field questions regarding use and performance of our pigments for pigment applications for both sales staff and external customers.
    • Responsible for tracking and communicating competitive activities and identifying new growth opportunities in the market.
    • Responsible for preparing and providing written reports as directed, including responsibility to insure similar accountability for direct reports, as appropriate.
    • Implement price reviews
    • Performs other duties as required.
      • Is the lead and coordinator for major product line (MPL)
      • Provides technical guidance and product knowledge to support KAM in industry segment
      • Participates on joint calls with KAM to actively support and promote MPL in industry segment
      • Coordinates cross functional activities to ensure sales and profit targets are attained
      • Monitors and reports MPL on monthly basis – Volume/Value/Margin/Average Sales Price
      • Collaborates with Industry Lead , Sales & Product Manager, KAM and Technical Applications Manager
      • Provides product training support
      • Understands product, manufacture process, its applications and competitive positioning
      • Is the lead and coordinator for industry segment
      • Collaborates and coordinates with direction from Sales & Product Manager
      • Provides guidance and industry application knowledge to support KAM for successful sales calls
      • Provides leadership for trade shows and advertising campaigns
      • Responsible for day to day support for industry segment to KAM
      • Collaborates with Product Lead and Technical Applications Manager
      • Has an understanding and appreciation of the industry market , its segment and  requirements for product use in applications

        Required Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, Marketing, Business or related field) required.
    • Minimum ten years’ experience in technical sales / marketing / applied technology for color solutions in the plastics, coatings, construction, cosmetic, rubber, engineering industry. 
    • Knowledge of pigments market and its applications is desired
    • Knowledge of Plastics; Coatings and Construction industry is desired
    • Strong understanding of product line characteristics and applications
    • Strong financial acumen.
    • Must be computer literate in MS Office software including word process, spreadsheet, presentation and e-mail applications and knowledge of SAP.
