The Key Account Manager is responsible for monitoring and developing his/her accounts.
The Key Account Manager will proactively work between the Purchasing and Engineering organizations at the customers to maintain a consistently high level of service delivery.
They will lever customer global alliance and ownership structures to identifying further new business opportunities in line with the customer’s strategy.
With a high level of customer presence and providing a “one face” customer interface, the KAM will strive to promote the companies Innovations, technical differentiators and manufacturing footprint towards
He/she will maintain the revenue and gross profit of the account ensuring profitability in line with annual targets.
Ensure the development/renewal of turnover according to business strategic targets
Undertakes account analysis to identify trends in customer activity, track sales performance in line with budget and forecast
Price negotiation with end customers.
Lead Customer RFQ´s and create cost breakdowns and further documents
Facilitate the implementation of new services or service enhancements
Facilitate local communication and business activities
Responsible for development and growth of direct sales accounts; dealing with relevant commercial issues
Manage relationships with external customer leaders, stakeholders and subject matter experts
Analyze new opportunities, needs and trends: identify new products or changes to existing products
Acquisition of new prospects for new direct- and indirect accounts
Follow up with overdue accounts
Responsible for maintaining and increasing profit margins
Maintain and update a variety of department files, lists, records, charts and worksheets
Key Must Have’s:
Bachelor's Degree in related field and 5+ years of Key Account Management
Proven track record in Key Account Management in Tier 1 supply industry, ideally linked to Chrysler.
Excellent communication/presentation skills and customer relationships
Experience in Chrysler system - “e-supplier connect” is highly appreciated
