Position Summary:
As the Key Account Manager (KAM) this position will cover 4 HCA Divisions: North Texas, Central West Texas, Gulf Coast and San Antonio. You will have an opportunity to establish and maintain multilevel relationships with the assigned Health Systems. This unique role includes identifying sales potential, negotiating and closing opportunities, delivering clinical and operational outcomes. You will collaborate in a matrixed sales organization, leveraging cross business unit communication of shared customer strategies. This is a field-based role with geographical flexibility, you will travel at least 60%. This geography will be best served by someone in Houston, Dallas or Austin TX.
- Drive revenue growth in each Health System to achieve and exceed growth targets
- Lead the development and execution of aligned and divisionally specific long-term strategic and business objectives, through leadership of cross-Global Business Unit (GBU) sales and support teams
- Own and grow relationships with senior healthcare executives; become a “trusted advisor” to the assigned divisions
- Develop, implement, and track a comprehensive strategic plan to achieve revenue goals and expand the One Hillrom portfolio with assigned Health Systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills along with coordination efforts among internal team members across all GBUs
- Keep all team members up to date using the Hillrom Standardized Account Management tool for Enterprise Accounts
- Conduct consistent business reviews for assigned divisions along with individual strategic plans supporting customer priorities to support short-term and long-term portfolio growth

Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Minimum five (5) years of experience driving revenue growth at IDNs and/or within divisions of for-profit health systems such as Community Health Systems, LifePoint Health, Quorum Health and Ardent Health Services
- Experience leading/developing high performance teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a business, health care or relevant field
PREFERRED
- Master’s degree
- Experience managing a multi-BU/product line sales process
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and lead in a complex matrix environment
- Hillrom experience/knowledge of portfolio
- Strong Knowledge of Healthcare Trends and reimbursement
- Demonstrates strong business and financial analytical skills/proficient with Excel
- Demonstrates ability to communicate up, down and laterally in a nationally, multi-business unit company regarding customer strategies and the role of each individual or team in achieving the desire outcomes: increase revenues, increased margin, satisfied customers, clinical outcomes
