Key Account Executive - Transit Parts
Leading Distributor of Transit Parts in North America poised for significant growth.
In this role you will be selling OEM and aftermarket solutions to an existing client base of Transit Authorities (both direct and Contract Shops) for the Transit Bus Systems. Some examples of key accounts are: LA Metro, OC Transit, OmniTrans and First Transit.
--$500M+, 60-year-old Industry Leader.
--Company is pacing at doing double digit, yoy growth for 2017.
--Exclusive distributor on multiple brands within North America.

Hardest part of the job?
The hardest part of the job is being persistent, staying the course and being focused. These are long sales cycles and selling to the government involves navigating red tape.
--Must have Parts experience. Either selling them OR working within the Government, on the Client side managing the parts for the Transit Buses (ie: Director of Maintenance).
--Ability to travel70-85% of time within a 11 state, Western territory.
--Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree (not required).
