Position Overview


• Be capable of designing complex technology solutions taking into account the existing tech landscape
• Have the necessary communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients at all levels
• Have the ability to keep up to date with technology as it develops and inform their clients of the potential impact
• Be capable of taking a conceptual solution and turning it into a detailed design
• Act as the technical point of contact for clients and technical teams throughout the client life cycle
• Be self-managing and capable of prioritizing work load based on client requirements


• 3+ years of experience in Windows Engineering
• Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and included components
• Working Knowledge of Operations Manager and Security Manager from Manage Engine
• Working Knowledge of Varonis Data Protector and agents
• Working knowledge of Shavlik Windows Patch Management
• Experience with server backup and recovery methodologies
• Experience with Cisco UCS servers and infrastructure components
• Knowledge of VMWare ESX and infrastructure components
• knowledge of other virtualization technologies such as VMware View, Citrix Xen Server and Xen Desktop
• Working knowledge of PowerShell, User/Kernel Dump analysis, Network protocol & packet analysis
• Experience with server backup and recovery methodologies
• Antivirus methodologies and best practices using Mcafee EPO technologies
• Experience in large heterogeneous (600+ Server) environments
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to author technical documents and create procedure manuals
• Strong interpersonal skills, oral communication skills, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong understanding of the organization's goals and objectives
• Ability to conduct research into current and future technologies
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
• Strong customer service orientation
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• On-call availability 24/7 as part of a rotation schedule
• Other duties as assigned
