Junior Quantitative Developer
Looking for sharp, dedicated, and highly quantitative Data Scientist or an entry level QuantitativeDeveloper for this direct hire, full time, permanent position. As a member of the data analysis group, you will develop structured experiments and build mathematical models to find predictive trends. Work inside the company “Skunk Works” to help speed up trading algorithms at a world class hedge fund. Typical responsibilities will include:
Analyzing data systems and simulation models.
Writing SQL queries to build data sets. C, C# experiencepreferred.
Building visualizations for large data sets to monitor ongoing performance.
Preparing data to present clear recommendations to the engineering team to shape product performance.

2+ years of professional experience in statistical modeling, predictive analysis, machine learning, and/ or data mining.
At least one year of experience in simulation models using structured and unstructured data.
Market research and social data modeling preferred.
Must be a self starter with outstanding communication and client service skills.
Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis to non technical members of marketing team and business user.
Strong background in statistical and mathematical research modeling
Excellent analytical and quantitative problem solving ability.
Hands-on expertise with R, C, C# a plus
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
