Core Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to classified information systems
  • Audits and manages access management of classified information systems
  • Support internal user’s technology needs
  • LAN/WAN Support, Network segments, internet/intranet systems administration
  • Integrate new products into Corporate infrastructure
  • Evaluate and modify system's performance for efficient operation and system security
  • Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, software deployment, security updates and patches
  • Maintains computer-related hardware and peripherals
  • Establishes and documents processes and procedures for systems administration; supports all personnel as they use system procedures.
  • Windows Active Directory Management (User creation, DNS record management, group policy management, etc.)
  • Performs preventative maintenance procedures; performs system troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems
  • Assists with building, installing, deploying, and upgrading system hardware and software components as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Experience and Skills

  • U.S. citizenship with willingness and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent and 4+ years of related Systems Administration experience
  • Ability to work independently and with teams according to deadlines
  • Willingness and aptitude for learning moderntechnologies/skills
  • Commitment to excellence and high-fidelity work
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Computer Networking
  • Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/Debian) Administration
  • Experience with Windows 7, 10, Server 2008 R2, Server 2012 R2 Administration
  • Experience with Virtualization environments (VMWare, XenServer, VirtualBox)
  • Understanding of and Experience with Windows Active Directory
  • Understanding of and Experience with standard network protocols/programs such as DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, SSH, etc.
  • Ability to independently identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues both locally and remote
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with Agile software tools (JIRA, Git, etc.)
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Relevant certifications: Network+, Security+, Linux+, CCNA, A+, MCSA, etc.
  • Experience with at least 1 Scriptinglanguage (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.)
  • Experience with Clonezilla or other computer imaging software
  • Experience managing and implementing virtualized servers using Type 1 Hypervisors (Xen, ESXi, etc.)
  • Understanding of practical Systems Administration practices
  • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the basic principles, theories, concepts, and practices in the applicable area of engineering/technical specialization.
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Experience with Office365 Administration
