In this role, you will be responsible forÂ the design and implementation of network solutions that meet or exceed customers' business requirements. You will work closely with account managers and channel partners to identify opportunities, conduct technical presentations, and perform proof-of-concept demonstrations.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing project scopes of work (SOW), and bills of materials (BOM) for projects, ensuring the equipment and configuration specified will meet customer requirements and that work elements for implementation are properly identified.
During implementation, will work closely with the customer and project manager to coordinate the staging and deployment of equipment, ensures project checkpoints are met, and performs validation testing.
For many projects, you will be responsible for all aspects of the implementation – leveraging other GDT engineers as necessary.
You must work well under pressure, be comfortable taking ownership of complex designs, and possess the requisite soft skills to build lasting relationships with demanding customers and partners.
The possessing sufficient business acumen to understand how different roles interrelate and how to utilize available resources is key.
You must also be capable of quickly learning and deploying new technologies by leveraging existing experience, testing in a lab environment, and consulting with peers.
The Junior SE will be responsible for maintaining certifications and accreditations consistent with their job responsibilities.
