Support the Data Center (Infrastructure) to collaborate with all cross functional areas and/or customers to ensure all technical and business requirements accurately reflect the defined processes within the client environment. Other tasks may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage new and ongoing large-scale data center construction, network, and cabling projects.
  • Develop project plans. Manage project scope, schedule and risk and issue logs.
  • Coordinate all project activities with multiple vendors and government personnel.
  • Collaborate and interface with various internal teams and vendors to provide guidance and ensure adherence to the client IT Standards and Criteria.
  • Responsible for regular status reporting for management team.
  • Lead and/or attend technical and management meetings related to the planning, development, deployment and maintenance of each project.
  • Serve as liaison between divisions and manage customer expectations through all phases of the project.
  • Support infrastructure activities to include network, server, performance, applications, and capacity.
  • Gather, document, and track changes to customer requirements throughout the lifecycle of each project. Must be familiar with securitytechnology, and products.
  • Work with client helping them to define their needs and address issues they are facing. 
  • Evaluate problems analytically and systematically and develop appropriate corrective action. Implement mitigation plans, then escalate risks and issues to leadership, as appropriate. 
  • Support the development of a comprehensive project plan for fulfilling the clients’ requirements including work breakdown structure and timeline.
  • Update the project plan, including deliverables, dependencies, assignments, and outcomes.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations and status on an ongoing basis to team members and stakeholders.
  • Follow process and project management best practices, and drive their continuous improvement.
  • Compile relevant information for customer equipment, power and network requirements; coordinate with internal and vendor teams to ensure electrical, cabling and network installations are synchronized and meet technical and time requirements.
  • Manage projects, including tracking costs, deliverables and invoices; assist in developing cost models for services and projects.
  • Develop MOUs (Memos of Understanding) and SOWs (Statements of Work) as needed.
  • Execute the actions necessary to resolve service problems/issues, and process Service Now tickets.
  • Develop and/or update spreadsheets and otherreporting mechanisms to track various service metrics (e.g., costs, resources, growth, etc.); analyze this data and prepare reports of analysis as needed; compile and coordinate presentation materials to reflect these areas.
  • Communicate with NIH Stakeholders and team members at a technical (infrastructure) and non-technical level ensuring requirements are understood and met. 


  • Five (5) years of project managementexperience in large scale IT hosted environments.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) desired.
  • Knowledge of tracking finances for large scale projects desired.
