Job Summary:

The Data Analyst may be responsible for data integrations or data quality and collection depending on the assignment. This role collaborates with team members for process improvement/efficiency opportunities. Establish, document and follow standard operating procedures.

This position works closely with manager, regional resources and stakeholders toprovide on-going support and communicate any delays impacting the customer SLAs.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze requirements for data integration
  • Data conversion and normalization of transactional data from disparate sources into a common standard format
  • Responsible for client transformation routines and data alignment processes in support of customer reporting requirements
  • Ensures all data is complete, meets quality standards for data conversion prior to conversion. Ensures delivery on time, meeting all established SLAs
  • Processes data files thru the data conversion process according toestablished SLAs
  • Maintain all processes and specs related to data conversion and client normalization procedures
  • Participates in new implementations, ensuring that data requirements are met in accordance with established procedures and processing requirements. Ensure client reporting requirements are obtained
  • Work with development resources to implement changes to conversion programs; ensures proper testing occurs before moving to production
  • Work with source agencies on data issues, data anomalies that impact processing and conversion
  • Work with quality team to assess quality errors resulting from converted data, communicate improvement opportunities either thru backend development or back to the source agency
  • Work with management to set performance goals
  • Support department initiatives and projects and in alignment with company objectives
  • Works towards accomplishing established goals in support of the department and company defined goals
  • Continuously review existing processes and make recommendations for improvements
  • Recommend changes and improvements in alignment with the Ent Dev strategy
  • Keep abreast of technologies and industry trends
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with the team and other key stakeholders
  • Work with others within the department to support department goals

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience working in a technical role supporting
  • Data mapping, data analysis, data conversion and data normalization, as applicable to role
  • Strong knowledge of the data process encompassing: the collection process, quality, data flow and data integration
  • Solid knowledge of the global data environment working with global business travel data, including data capabilities and limitations
  • Ability to write and interpret SQL code to support job functions

  • Advance knowledge of MS Office tools; specifically, Word and EXCEL, Access, Visio, SQL and data-warehouse environments
  • Ability to work with teams in different parts of world where English is not the primary language
  • Working knowledge of ETL processes and touch points thru the data life cycle
  • College degree, preferably in the computer related field, or equivalent technical work experience (preferred)
  • Able to work extended and or off-hours as needed or required (preferred)
  • Occasional overnight travel may be necessary (preferred)
