Bachelor's Degree, preferably a Master's Degree in Marketing Research, Marketing or MBA.
Minimum 3-5 years of solid consumer-related marketing research experience in the consumer package goods industry (alcohol beverage experience preferred)
Ability to manage numerous research projects simultaneously and work independently to ensure project completion.
Strong qualitative and quantiative research skills including familiarity with methods such as market segmentation, advertising testing, concept screens, media mix models. In-depth knowledge of descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, etc) is essential. Some understanding of statistical inference using hypothesis testing and regression is also very helpful.
Travel up to 20%.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Work with internal clients to conduct market research for Brand & Industry issues. Coordinate and execute all phases of research projects including: research design, manage budgets, implementation, analysis, reporting and presentation of findings.
Manage consumer investigations and insight development and presentations including on-going brand health performance analytics, brand positioning and validation, consumer segment depth knowledge, marketing program alignment and effectiveness (ad, packaging and program effectiveness), gap analysis and competitive investigations.
Manage outside consultants and suppliers. Collaborate with procurement to manage supplier costs.
Evaluation of brand / marketing effectiveness including advertising-- qualitative and quantitative analysis of advertising appeal, awareness, communication, and positioning.
