YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Install, maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot enterprise Windows and Linux systems running Atlassian suite products including JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo and BitBucket.
Systems, network and database performance tuning specifically around the Atlassian suite.
Integrate JIRA with Rally to create and update issues.
Development knowledge to integrate JIRA and ITSM Remedy and WorkFront tools for synchronizing tickets in both systems.
JIRA customizations and plugin development.
Test new versions of Atlassian tools and plug-ins to ensure compatibility.
Ensure the reliability and security of the Atlassian suite, environment, third-party products, and associated infrastructural components.
Manage and update Software licenses and SSL certificates.
Create and customize JIRA projects with various schemes, complex workflows, custom fields, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes to support projects.
Ability to provide off-hours coverage and support for maintenance during outage windows.
Work with various Atlassian consumers on the effective use of their Spaces and Projects.
Prepare and maintain up to date documentation for internal and external customers detailing a configuration of deployed solutions.
Participate in requirement gathering efforts with stakeholders for new requests and enhancements.
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to create automation solutions.
Troubleshoot automation issues and find practical solutions to address barriers, enabling forward movement in the application lifecycle.
Solid understanding of continuous integration principles and agile techniques.
Strong project management skills and ability to drive a project from ideation to completion
Previous experience in a consulting or solution delivery capacity preferred.
Provide configuration and administrative support of self-hosted (server) JIRA and Confluence.
Build filters, custom dashboards, and reports.
Troubleshoot and fix errors common to JIRA Applications and Application servers
Administer JIRA instances on a day to day basis. Research and implement Atlassian best practices
Manage user, groups and role permissions to projects.
Actively develop and improve JIRA skill set by keeping aware of JIRA industry trends, tools, and techniques.
Train staff on JIRA/Confluence and navigating our projects and spaces.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education.
Strong experience in Atlassian suite tools and Integration with DevOps Tools.
Extensive hands-on Atlassian tools administration experience including installation, upgrades, plug-in development, and installation and testing, and authentication system integration.
Integration experience with Atlassian suite tools with other ITSM Tools like Remedy, Workfront, Rally and Pier.
Knowledge on Windows and Linux system administration.
Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Web Services, XML. Experience using/extending REST API using Java for Atlassian suite applications.
Experience with one or more scripting languages (Groovy, Python, JavaScript).
Strong database knowledge, experience on writing complex SQL and JQL queries.
Experience with cloud infrastructure using AWS/ Azure.
Automated Systems Deployment/Management Expertise.
Experience with source version control systems like Git, Bitbucket.
Strong ability to learn new technologies in a short time.
Must possess well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
