Our client is a global institutional tradingnetwork, providing electronic management and liquidity services worldwide.

They are currently looking for a strong Java Developer to join their operations in New York. 

An experienced developer, you will be developing quality software products for a financial service organization, spanning multiple trading systems and analytics data systems.

You will develop highly available, scalable services to deploy within the application environment. These will include client-facing analytics, reference infrastructure solutions, order routing, trading algorithms, smart order routing, and workflow solutions.

Role:

?        Develop components for the global trading platform (Java, Scala)

?        Contribute to entire software lifecycle, including third tier end-user support

?        Contribute to daily scrums and after-action reviews

?        Contribute to continuous process improvement, quality monitoring and technological solutions

Profile:

?        5+ years?experience, dealing directly with equity products, and developing in Java or Scala.

?        Experience developing in latency-sensitive environments

?        Experience with equity products including FIX protocol

?        Strong grasp of database interactions (SQL and NoSQL), distributed systems and messaging-driven architecture

?        Excellent multi-threaded and network programming experience

?        Experience with order handling and electronic trading

?        Skills in the following are advantageous: C++, functional programming, Scala, Solace
