NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Java-Guidewire Integration Developer to join our team in Bloomington, Illinois (US-IL), United States (US).
NTT DATA is seeking an experienced Java software developer with a background developing J2EE applications to drive solutions to resolve enterprise business issues and integration with Guidewire Policy Center. The preferred candidate should have a solid work history as a programmer/analyst developing and supporting business applications using Java and Guidewire Policy Center. The preferred candidate is required to have previous experienceworking within a large enterprise environment and can demonstrate excellent teamwork and communications skills.
The ideal candidate will have recent work experience on Java/GW Integration (with GW Integration / Plugins experience / skills). Candidates will be asked to demonstrate their level of proficiency with the required skills during the screening process.
Position Responsibilities and Skills include:
Develop and support custom software applications
Experienced creating functional designs/specifications from business requirements
Develop and maintain system documentation as per client expectations
Provide technical and functional subject matter expertise within assigned project team
Comfortable working within a distributed software development environment
Provide leadership through team building with remote team (liaison responsibilities within the team)
Analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent formal and informal communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Self-starter able to work independently to provide quality solutions with little oversight
Receptive to working in a diverse and dynamic technological environment
Customer focused professional with a positive attitude
Personally accountable and flexible to meet assignment deadlines
Experienced client communicator within project team
Manage client expectations through clear issue management
Provide business acumen to influence technical solutions to address business issues
Basic Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of J2EE Development experience
2 to 3 years of Java Guidewire Policy Center integration experience
Required Technical Skills include:
Strong Java/J2EE knowledge with hands-on experience on XML parsing, Junit, SoapUI, Subversion, Maven, Jenkins, Code Coverage plugin/tools, Static/Dynamic code scan plugin/tools
Spring framework experience
Experience on Web Services development using Java - JAX-WS
Gosu For Integration, Gosu Queries, Gosu Bundles
GW Integration Plugins Development using Gosu/Java
GW Integration with web services – consuming, publishing
GW Integration with Messaging
GW Batch Processes
Desired Tools/Applications Skills include:
Experience working on SAFe methodology would be an advantage
