The Test Engineer validates that tests plans and procedures support all applicable software and related system requirements. The Test Engineer develops software test plans and procedures and conducts functional, performance and regression testing. The Test Engineer validates that system requirements are described in a manner that is testable. The Test Engineer assesses the readiness of test plans, procedures, people and technical environments to conduct testing. The Test Engineer evaluates the completeness and quality of testing results and determines what corrective actions are required to meet applicable system requirements. The Test Engineer researches and recommends test tools.
Ranging from an entry level to SME. Entry level candidates has 0 to 3 years’ experience in a relevant field to the requirement. This level applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments. Work performed under supervision. This category will primarily be leveraged to staff recent college graduates. A Subject Matter Expert is an individual whose qualifications and/or particular expertise are exceptional and/or highly unique. Subject Matter Experts has 15 or more years of experience in specific experience/education qualifications and are typically identified as recognized industry leaders for a given area of expertise. Subject Matter Experts typically perform the following kinds of functions: Initiates, supervises, and/or develops requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs; Provides strategic and technical guidance to program and project staff; Provides detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for mission-related challenges and/or issues; Consults with stakeholders to define need or problem; and supervises/leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions to mission needs.
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in computer science, sciences, engineering, math, or related field. Preferred: Masters of Science in computer science, sciences, engineering, or related field.
Active or current TS/SCI with CI polygraphed (preferred).
