SUMMARY

Responsible for all releases within the following areas: Intranet, Old and New Web. Key activities include: receive, log, and qualify all release requests based on the Bank's best practices.

JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develops installation scripts
  2. Procures release components
  3. Schedules release readiness reviews
  4. Conducts release readiness reviews
  5. Oversees release deployments
  6. Communicates release status
  7. Secures software in DSL (Definitive Software Library)
  8. Participates in Post Implementation Review (PIR)
  9. Automates Release procedures wherever possible
  10. Conducts functional testing
  11. Provides high quality work by ensuring accuracy and seeking to continuously improve our processes and platforms by embracing new and better ways of doing things.
  12. Performs all duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, business or related field
  2. Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and creating /deploying application builds a must
  3. Knowledge of Subversion is a plus
  4. 4 or more years?experience in Release Management
  5. Release Management standards and methods.
  6. Knowledge and experience in Global Custody, securities processing, international banking, securities lending, and corporate actions processing helpful
  7. Ability to work withWindows , UNIX, and Linux operating systems
  8. Knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL, Transact SQL, PL-SQL
  9. Knowledge of Weblogic, Cognos, Apache is a plus
  10. Knowledge of C# or otherscriptinglanguage a plus
  11. Willingness to work on-call rotations in a 7x24 environment
  12. Ability to perform professional level technical documentation and presentation.
  13. Ability to create and maintain positive and professional business relationships with both internal associates and external customers.
  14. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
  15. Proficient at time and priority management
