Position Description Summary:

IT Support Services Leader / Director / Senior Manager oversees the support teams to deliver high-quality support services to our clients and users. The role has significant responsibility for ensuring alignment of Tier 1 technology support and Tier 2 operations as well as ensuring coordination and alignment with other groups, vendors, or teams providing Tier 2+ support. You will interact with Senior IT and Business Leaders to increase user satisfaction and continued growth ensuring business initiatives and goals are met.

What you’ll do:

  • Manages the Support Services Team to develop and grow the team and its members by mentoring and providing feedback on performance.
  • Ensures the needs of the business are met when delivering Support Services solutions such as Job Site setup and End User Computing solutions.
  • Responsible for Support Services Team Budget, including Projects, Salary, Desktops, Software, Peripherals, Travel, Meals and Training
  • Initiates and plans IT Support Services tasks and manages execution by controlling scope, budget, schedule, quality, risk, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures reporting is sufficient to control and improve IT operations, including managing SLAs, capacity planning, and trouble tickets.
  • High emphasis on change management and organizational readiness to help in the adoption of technology and minimize the impact of change.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT or a closely related field - equivalent work experience maybe substituted for a degree
  • 10 – 15 years of recent and direct experience leading a high performing support services team and experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise automation to provide end user services
  • Ability to manage, mentor, motivate, and professional develop 10-15 Support Services staff, which includes Supervisors, Tier 1&2 IT Support Specialists, and IT support Administrators
  • Ability to lead a large virtual and distributed team providing end-user service and support
  • Strong customer focus and management of client expectations with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence
  • Good understanding of Active Directory and its components and MS Office, Skype, and Teams, including telephony, and to have the ability to conceptualize and translate the corporate vision into actionable IT solutions
  • Ability to monitor a production environment using various physical and software tools
  • Highly skilled in the development of high performing teams in a collaborative environment
