Job Description

GSM Corporate Strategic Procurement (CSP) is responsible for procurement and supply chain management of indirect materials which includes transportation and logistics, IT hardware and software, sales and marketing, and HR/benefits. Given this broad procurement scope, CSP is in a unique position to collaborate with and impact stakeholders throughout Intel, as well as support supplier negotiation plans for some of Indirect procurement's largest spends.

The CSP IT Strategic Sourcing (ITSS) Finance Specialist is responsible for supporting the IT Strategic Sourcing organization to procure IT hardware and software products and services. This role is responsible for influencing supply chain and procurement strategies, and provides opportunities for in-depth exposure to Intel's key markets and suppliers/customers, as well as demonstrating advanced finance skill sets such as influencing at senior levels, cross-functional partnership, and complex analysis. This role also partners with stakeholders to drive challenging and transparent ITSS targets, develop a pipeline of initiatives to execute toward the goals, and clear, timely communication of the program within ITSS and outward toward the stakeholder groups. This role will also have the opportunity to support development of category strategies and contract negotiation plans across a wide variety of areas. This includes analytical support, negotiation and deal support (such as benchmarking, should cost modeling, recommending financial negotiating positions), driving savings and challenging organizational assumptions.


Qualifications

The successful candidate must demonstrate solid business and external acumen, and strong analytical, partnership, leadership and influence skills. In addition, the candidate must be able to communicate in a clear, concise manner to senior management, provide critical thinking, collaborate and cultivate relationships across Intel and externally, and have a high tolerance for ambiguity while maintaining strong bias for action. Prior Project Management experience/knowledge is a plus. A BA/BS in accounting or finance with 7+ years of experience or an MBA with 2+ years of experience is required. Previous Finance experience is required.
