The Role &Responsibilities:The Sourcing Manager in this role will perform the followingresponsibilities:- Manage a global pipeline of sourcing projects and their related services with a primary focus on software but may also include hardware, managed services, cloud services and/or professional services- Partner withMS Business Units andTechnology stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies that optimize total cost of ownership, improve supplier performance, and reducerisk within thecategory- Create competitive opportunities within the marketplace by leveraging various resources (e.g. benchmarking/advisory companies, professional associations) and usingRFIs,RFPs and/or eAuctions effectively- Collaborate with global colleagues to ensure specific regional requirements and limitations are incorporated into sourcing projects, includingtax efficient solutions, where applicable- Support special projects such as nichetechnology purchases, client facing requirements and country specific demands- Negotiate NDAs,trial agreements,master agreements , amendments, addendums and maintenance renewals with vendors for different software licensing and delivery models (e.g. on-premise vs cloud, perpetual vs term)- Act as the liaison across all process stakeholders including Business Management, Legal, SupplierRisk Management, Contract Administration and Procurement Operations.- Monitor vendor performance and manage ongoingvendor relationships, including conformity tocontract performance, resolution of payment disputes and activity related to criticaldates (extensions, renewals, price adjustments, etc.)- Prepare supporting documentation for sourcing projects- Comply with, and complete in a timely manner all due diligence and approval tasksrequired in conjunction withTechnology to enablecontract execution- Prepare purchase order requests where applicable- Act as an advocate and a trusted advisor to business andtechnology colleagues 


Qualifications: The successful candidate will work within the global IT Sourcing organization reporting to the Category Lead for Enterprise Technology and Risk and should have demonstrated knowledge/experience of the following: - Sourcing - Negotiation skills and strategies - Creation and evaluation of RFIs, RFPs and eAuctions - Contract analysis and drafting - Specific experience within Sourcing and/or IT within infrastructure, including cloud (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) and analytics categories - Experience with Ariba - High energy and enthusiasm - Excellent analytical and communication skills - Strong entrepreneurial, interpersonal and team skills - Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of products to facilitate preparation and delivery of management presentations (PowerPoint) and perform data analysis (Excel) - Ability to manage a complex workload - Attention to detail - Bachelor’s degree - Software licensing or IT background - Minimum 5 years of experience
