Our client is hiring a team of dedicated IT help desk technicians to support a government program located in Alexandria, VA. Candidates should demonstrate high-level IT troubleshooting knowledge and superior customer service skills. Candidates must hold an active secret security clearance (or higher level security clearance). Base salary is dependent upon experience of the individual.  



Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email. Record events and problems and their resolution in ticketing system (Remedy). 

Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Windows hardware and software problems. Install and configure new PC hardware and software on desktops, laptops and peripherals such as phones, printers, external drives and other related hardware. Develop, prepare, tests and deploy hard drive images and be capable of supporting users in a virtual desktop environment. Interact professionally with clients exhibiting strong customer service skills.


Five (5) years experience providing IT support or customer service. Possess working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.  Customer-oriented and cool-tempered. Must have United States Citizenship and ability to obtain secret security clearance.  Comptia A+, Comptia Net+, or Comptia Sec+ certification is preferred. Microsoft and/or Apple certifications are preferred.
