2019 IT Service Desk Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced IT Service Desk Executive for our client, a privately held RIA with over 90 billion in managed assets. The ideal candidate will think beyond standardized answers and have a strong ability to solve problems, create efficiencies, and serve our clients valuable customers. This is a contract-to-hire role in our clients office near Dallas, TX.

The Opportunity:

As an IT Service Desk Executive, you will provide support surrounding computer and telecom incidents, desktop (hardware/software), third-party software/hardware applications, and home office configurations. You will be expected to trouble-shoot, diagnose and resolve complex PC and network problems. Our client's employees work within Windows 7, and many utilize Citrix desktop environment. Given the large amount of interacting systems, the ability to identify patterns and investigate solutions is a critical characteristic for a successful candidate in this role.

Responsibilities

This position requires agility and adaptability to support the needs of the business. The most successful IT Service Desk Executives understand they don't know everything and have a strong desire to continue learning. They're animated and recognize the importance of their role and those they serve. They take ownership of the process and act as an advocate for the end-user. They're not afraid to "roll up their sleeves" and perform even basic tasks to assist the team. They find a balance between being a bold individual contributor and a team player.

Prior experience within an Enterprise Help Desk/Desktop Support environment will provide the required technical foundation, but individuals tend to excel here if they take time to absorb, understand, and then innovate within their current environment. They know the importance of customer satisfaction and can work cross-functionally, and consistently seek to be part of the solution; they don't just fix things, but actually think through "why" and "how" surrounding issues.

Qualifications:

· Previous Service Desk or Helpdesk experiencepreferred.

· Desktop experience ideal for this dual role.

· Previous experience working in a Microsoft environment with exposure to Exchange.
