The Process Quality Assurance (PQA) Team sits within the Institutional Clients Group (ICG) division as part of the Organization Project Management Office. PQA is responsible for reviewing the ICG Book of Work for completion of required documents and their timelines.
Documents are scoped and reviewed as they are completed in the Project Tracking System. Review results drive remediation actions. Continuous improvement of the PQA framework and knowledge sharing with the Project Management Community are key areas of focus.
The successful candidate will apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow. You will integrate subject matter and industry expertise whilst applying in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business.
You will be involved in coaching and training of new recruits and conduct qualitative inspections of project artifacts against published standards and procedures. Provide metrics, trends and observations to project managers along with any necessary training as a result of PMQC findings as well as providing input to process and standard changes, including the annual standards authoring cycle.
Responsibilities:- Identify key quality and control risks in work efforts that impact application reliability, stability and availability through efficient, effective and accurate control and quality focused inspections.
- Provide technology managers with ongoing monitoring of the compliance and quality status of their key projects and programs.
- Provide technology with quantitative measures as well as qualitative observations and recommendations on major themes and trends related to process adherence.
- Support the annual SDLC standards authoring cycle, ensuring clear communication of changes to standards and tool set is delivered to clients.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the team's toolset, including Database and dashboard solutions.
- Liaise with specific technology management organization highlighting areas of risk and solutions to mitigate that risk.
Qualifications:- Solid technical work experience ideally within a QA process background
- Experience in managing processes and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Good attention to detail able to identify issues and suggest improvements.
- Proven experience of coaching and mentoring of team members
- Experience of application of process improvement tools and techniques
- Ability to resolve issues with stakeholders across functions and organizational levels.
Education:- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience preferred.
